The Lumbridge/Draynor Task Set is available to all players, both free users and members.
You are given a number of tasks to complete, with varying levels of difficulty, in order to learn more about the Lumbridge/Draynor area while receiving rewards when completing a difficulty set.
Where to Start
You can start the Lumbridge/Draynor Task Set by going to Lumbridge and talking to Explorer Jack. He's in his house beside the General Store. This is also marked on the minimap by the Achievement Diary symbol, which is the green star (looks like the quest start icon but green).
Overall Task Requirements
Each difficulty of tasks has certain requirements, below is a list of all of the requirements that you would need to meet in order to complete all the Tasks that are part of the set for Lumbridge.

The Lumbridge/Draynor Task Set has four levels of difficulty. These are Beginner, Easy, Medium, and Hard. This is the first and so far only location for a Task Set available to free users. It is also the first and only one to have Beginner tasks.

|2||Raise the flag on the roof of the Lumbridge bank.||Look at Beginner Task 1 on how to get there. Click on the winch for the flag in order to raise it.||None||None|
|3||Speak to Horacio, the Duke of Lumbridge.||Go to the second floor of Lumbridge Castle and he will be in the East room.||None||None|
|4||Speak with the Doomsayer about the Warning System.||Go talk to the Doomsayer, who is next to the bridge in front of Lumbridge Castle, about the Warning System.||None||None|
|5||Talk to the Lumbridge Sage.||Talk to the Lumbridge Sage. He's located next to the bridge in front of Lumbridge Castle.||None||None|
|6||Browse the Lumbridge General Store.||Go to the Lumbridge General Store, located North of the Lumbridge Castle. Go inside it and right-click the General Store owner or assistant and click Trade.||None||None|
|7||Visit Fred the Farmer's chicken and sheep farm.||Go to the farm North of the Lumbridge Castle. Talk to Fred in his house that is next to the sheep pen. (This is where you start the miniquest Sheep Shearer).||None||None|
|8||Mine some clay in the Mining-spot , North of the Champions' Guild.||Grab a pickaxe from your bank. The Mining spot they're talking about is South of the West entrance to Varrock. You can see it on the World Map easily by looking south of Varrock and seeing the words Champions' Guild. Look for some tan colored mineral in the rock and mine it to get Clay.||None||None|
|9||Make some Soft Clay in Draynor Village's potter's house.||Get a Jug or Bowl and fill it with water at a sink or fountain. Use the Jug or Bowl that now has water in it on the Clay while you're in the potter's house in Draynor Village. The potter's house is building that is marked with the Pottery Wheel icon (which looks like an empty bowl).||None||None|
|10||Make a pot on the potter's wheel in Draynor Village.||Use your Soft Clay on the pottery wheel in the building that you went to in Beginner Task 9 (the one marked by the Pottery Wheel icon in Draynor Village).||None||None|
|11||Fire a pot in the pottery oven of the potter's house in Draynor Village.||Use your Pot that you made in Step 10 on the pottery oven in the same house (the one marked by the Pottery Wheel icon in Draynor Village).||None||None|
|12||Enter the courtyard of Draynor Mansion.||Go North of Draynor Village, following the road, and go through the gate to get into the courtyard of Draynor Mansion.||None||None|
|13||Grind some flour in the Lumbridge Mill.||Go to Lumbridge Castle and get a Pot off the table in the kitchen. Go to where the Lumbridge Mill is (Northwest across the road from Fred's farm that houses all those sheep and chicken). The Lumbridge Mill is also marked on the World Map with a special yellow icon. You'll see a fenced in area on the left side of the Lumbridge Mill. It has wheat all over it. Go and pick a piece of wheat. Walk inside the Lumbridge Mill and climb to the highest floor. You'll see a little chute that you add the wheat into. Put the wheat in and then go click to Operate the Hopper Controls across from it, this will move it down through the mill. Go back down to the first floor and collect your flour.||None||None|
|14||Visit Draynor Village market.||Go to Draynor Village and just walk into the area where the stalls are (right next to the bank in Draynor Village).||None||None|
|15||Find out about the Rules of Conduct from the town crier in Draynor.||Talk to the Town Crier in Draynor Village's market area (where you went for Beginner Task 14) and ask about the Rules of RuneScape.||None||None|
|16||Climb to the top of the Wizards' Tower.||Go to Draynor Village and take the road heading South. You'll end up walking onto a bridge; keep going and you'll get to the Wizards' Tower. Climb up the entire staircase to get to the top floor.||None||None|
|17||Mine some copper in the Mining spot to the southeast of Lumbridge Swamp.||Grab a pickaxe and go to Lumbridge. Head South through the graveyard area that's below the church. Keep heading South along the coast and you'll end up getting to an area marked with the Mining icon.||None||None|
|18||Catch some shrimp in the Fishing spot, to the east of Lumbridge Swamp.||Grab a Small Net and go to Lumbridge. Head South through the graveyard like you did in Beginner Task 17 and keep following the coast. You'll get to a spot where the Fishing icon is on your Minimap. Go to a spot there and fish for some Shrimp.||None||None|
|19||Sell a raw shrimp to Lumbridge fishing shop.||Take your Raw Shrimp that you caught in Beginner Task 18 and go sell it to the Fishing Shop found Northwest of the Lumbridge Castle (up next to the General Store and Explorer Jack's house).||None||None|
|20||Look through Father Aereck's selection of gravestones.||Go to Lumbridge and head into the church. Talk to him about the gravestones.||None||The Restless Ghost|

|22||Ring the bell in the Lumbridge church||Climb up the ladders in the church twice to get to the third floor where the bell is. Mouse over it and left-click when you see it say Ring Bell in the top left of your screen.||None||None|
|23||Ask about the toll at the Al Kharid gate.||Go to Lumbridge and head East across the bridge that's next to the church. Keep following the road East a little bit until you hit the fenced in area and the gate, where there are several guards standing at. Talk to them.||None||None|
BEGINNER TASKS COMPLETE!
Talk to Explorer Jack to receive your reward.
Reward: Ability to use the Explorer emote, Explorer's Ring which gives a small boost to Magic and Prayer and it can restore some of your Run energy once per day, and an Antique Lamp that gives 500 XP in one skill of your choice.
Note: If you ever lose your Explorer's Ring you can go talk to Explorer Jack to get it back.

|2||Have Ellis tan your cowhide to make soft leather at his shop in Al Kharid.||Make sure you have a Cow Hide on you. Get 11 gp from your bank, unless you've done the Prince Ali Rescue quest then you just need 1 gp, and pay the guards to go through the gate that is over the bridge east of the Lumbridge Castle. After getting through the gate run South a little from the gate until you see a building with an icon on it that is a brown shirt, go in it and trade with Ellis to get Soft Leather.||None||None|
|3||Craft a pair of soft leather gloves.||Grab 5 gp and go to the Crafting store in east Al Kharid (marked by an icon that has something that looks like a Chisel with a black handle) and buy a Needle and Thread. Use the Needle on your Soft Leather and choose gloves in the window that pops up.||None||None|
|4||Mine some iron ore from Al Kharid Mining spot.||Grab a pickaxe from the Al Kharid bank then head North to the Mining spot (shown on your World Map with the pickaxe icon). BEWARE OF LEVEL 14 SCORPIONS! Click to mine from the rock that has the brown veins running through it, you can always right-click and prospect the rock to make sure it's Iron Ore in there.||Level 15 Mining||None|
|5||Catch a pike in the river to the east of Lumbridge Castle.||Get a Fishing Rod and some Fishing Bait out of your bank, or get enough gp to buy them from the Fishing store in Lumbridge. Go and look along the river that run right in front of Lumbridge Castle until you find a sparkling spot in the water. Choose to Bait and wait until you catch a Pike.||Level 25 Fishing||None|
|6||Smelt a steel bar in the Lumbridge furnace.||Get 1 Iron Ore and 2 Coal. Take these two items with you to the Lumbridge Furnace which is Northeast of the Lumbridge General Store (the Lumbridge Furnace has an Anvil icon in its building on the World Map).||Level 30 Smithing and Recommended Level 30 Mining||None|
|7||Search the shed in Lumbridge Swamp.||Go South through the Lumbridge Church's graveyard to get into the Lumbridge Swamp. Look at your World Map and look at the tiny building in the middle of the map (it is not marked by any icon). Run to it and open the door to walk inside, this completes the objective.||None||None|
|8||Kill a giant rat in Lumbridge Swamp.||These Giant Rats are right beside the shed that you need to go to in Easy Task 7.||None||None|
|9||Cut down a dead tree in Lumbridge Swamp.||Get a hatchet and go chop down any dead tree that's in the Lumbridge Swamp area (areas for Easy Tasks 7 and 8).||None||None|
|10||Light a campfire using standard logs in Lumbridge Swamp.||Just use a Tinderbox on the Logs that you got from the Dead Tree you cut from Easy Task 9.||None||None|
|11||Cook some raw rat meat on a campfire in Lumbridge Swamp.||Kill a white Giant Rat behind the Lumbridge Castle. Go to the Lumbridge Swamp and cut one of the Dead Trees there. Use a Tinderbox the logs it gives to light them, and then use your Raw Rat Meat on it.||None||None|
|12||Craft a water rune at the Water Altar.||Take a Water Talisman/Tiara and some Rune Essence with you and go to the ruins that are a little west of the shed in the Lumbridge Swamp. Use your Talisman on the ruins, or just click on them if you are wearing your Tiara, and go use your Rune Essence on the altar in there.||Level 5 Runecrafting||Rune Mysteries|
|13||Get a replacement ghostspeak amulet from Father Urhney.||Grab your Ghostspeak Amulet from your bank and go to his house in the Lumbridge Swamp (the large building West of the Mining spot in the Swamp). Drop your Ghostspeak Amulet when you're in his house, talk to him about getting a new one from him, and after you get your new one pick up your old one.||None||The Restless Ghost|
|14||Taunt the lesser demon at the top of the Wizards' Tower.||Go to the Wizards' Tower, which you can get to by following the road going South from Draynor Village. Climb all the way up to the highest part of the tower; you'll see a giant red demon at this point, which is a Lesser Demon. Mouse over the railing until it says Taunt-Through Railing in the top left corner of your screen, then left-click to taunt the demon.||None||None|
|15||Have Sedridor teleport you to the Essence Mine.||Go to the first floor (ground floor) of the Wizards' Tower and look for a ladder that heads down. Click on this ladder to go into the basement of the Tower. Go talk to the wizard Sedridor who is dressed in all blue and in a room by himself. Ask him to teleport you to the Essence Mine.||None||Rune Mysteries|
|16||Access the bank in Draynor Village.||Go to Draynor Village and right-click the bank booth and click "Use-quickly" or just talk to the banker and ask to access your bank.||None||None|
|17||Ask the Wise Old Man to check your bank for unnecessary quest-related items.||Go talk to the Wise Old Man, whose house is directly in front of the bank in Draynor Village. Ask him to check your bank for junk.||None||None|
|18||Discover what the Wise Old Man is watching through his telescope.||Go upstairs in the Wise Old Man's house in Draynor Village, and left-click his telescope.||None||None|
|19||Defeat a zombie in the sewers under the jailhouse.||Go to Draynor Village. There is a building just to the east of the Village that has level 26 Jail Guards roaming around it. Go to it and climb down the trapdoor that is outside the building on its West side. Find a Zombie down there and kill it.||None||None|

Talk to Bob in his Axe Shop in Lumbridge to receive your reward.
Reward: Antique Lamp that rewards 1,000 XP to the skill of your choice that is Level 30 or higher, and an Explorer's Ring 2 (an upgrade of the Explorer's Ring 1) which can now restore your Run energy twice per day, has 30 charges of the Low Alchemy spell each day which transforms certain items into gp, and if worn while Runecrafting it will give you a chance to get extra runes while crafting Air, Earth, Fire, or Water Runes.
Note: If you ever lose your Explorer's Ring 2 you can obtain a new one by talking to Bob.

|4||Cut a willow tree, east of Lumbridge Castle.||Get a hatchet and go outside of Lumbridge Castle. There is a Willow Tree to the left of the Doomsayer who is next to the bridge in front of the Castle. Cut it.||Level 30 Woodcutting||None|
|5||Light a willow log fire on top of the Lumbridge Castle gatehouse.||Get your Tinderbox and bring some Willow Logs with you. Go to the Lumbridge Castle courtyard. Open one of the doors on either side of the entrance to the Castle grounds, and go up the ladder inside twice to get to the top. Use your Tinderbox on your Willow Logs in your inventory at this point to complete the task.||Level 30 Firemaking||None|

|8||Mine some silver from the Mining spot north of Al Kharid.||Grab a pickaxe from your bank and go to Al Kharid. You may need to prospect a few. Mine it to complete the task. Watch out for Scorpions too.||Level 20 Mining||None|
|9||Catch a salmon in the river to the east of Lumbridge Castle.||Grab a Fly Fishing Rod and some Feathers, and then head to Lumbridge. Go over the bridge so that you're on the East side of the River and then go up until you see a spot in the water that's sparkling. Mouse over it and choose to Lure. Just wait until you catch a Salmon.||Level 30 Fishing||None|
|10||Smelt a silver bar in the Lumbridge furnace.||Get some Silver Ore out of your bank and go to Lumbridge. Go North of Lumbridge Castle to the Furnace (marked with what looks like a black box that has some red in it). Use your Silver Ore on the Furnace to smelt a Silver Bar.||Level 20 Smithing||None|
|11||Craft a holy symbol in the Lumbridge furnace.||Get a Ball of Wool, Silver Bar, and a Holy Symbol Mold from your bank. Go to the Lumbridge Furnace. |12||Get Beefy Bill to bank something for you.||Get 10 Raw Beef, Cowhide, or a Pot of Flour and take it with you to Lumbridge. Head North of Lumbridge Castle up to the Windmill, then go up North of it (following the road beside the Windmill) and through a gate. You'll see Beefy Bill with his Wagon next to him. Talk to him and ask him to bank whichever items you brought with you (he has cows next to him that you may kill to get the items for him to bank).||None||None|
MEDIUM TASKS COMPLETE!!!
Talk to Ned in Draynor Village to get your reward. You can find him in the building marked with the Achievement Diary icon near the bank.
Reward: Antique Lamp that rewards 1,500 XP to the skill of your choice that is Level 35 or higher, and an Explorer's Ring 3 (an upgrade of the Explorer's Ring 2) which can now restore your Run energy three times per day, and it can also do a Cabbage-Port teleport that takes you to the cabbage field on the farm North of Port Sarim. The teleport can be used as much as you like.
Note: If you ever lose your Explorer's Ring 3 you can obtain a new one by talking to Ned.

Then, go east to the trapdoor next to the Jailhouse (where all the guards are patrolling around). Go down the trapdoor and keep going through the sewers there until you see the anvil. Go use a Mithril Bar on the anvil and make yourself a Mithril Platebody.||Level 68 Smithing||None|
|2||Create an amulet of strength from scratch, all within the town of Lumbridge (i.e. not below ground level).||Go to Lumbridge and get some Shears, an Uncut Ruby, Gold Ore, a Chisel, an Amulet Mould, 1 Cosmic Rune, and 5 Fire Runes. Then, go to the farm with all the Sheep and shear one. Go into the Castle on the second floor and use the Wool on the Spinning Wheel to make a Ball of Wool. Next, go to the Lumbridge Furnace and use the Gold Ore on it to make a Gold Bar. Cut your Ruby at this time using your Chisel. Last, use your Gold Bar on the Furnace and choose a Ruby Amulet. Use the Ball of Wool on the Ruby Amulet, then finally enchant it to complete the task.||Level 40 Smithing, 50 Crafting, and 49 Magic||None|
|3||Cook a chocolate cake from scratch in Lumbridge Castle's kitchen.||Go to Lumbridge Castle and grab a Cake Tin, an Egg, Pot of Flour, a Chocolate Bar, and a Bucket of Milk from your bank. Once in the Castle's kitchen, use the Pot of Flour on the Cake Tin. Use the Uncooked Cake on the Cooking Range. Finish by using your Chocolate Bar on the Cake.||Level 50 Cooking||None|
|4||Cast Fire Blast at one of the goblins or spiders in the Lumbridge area.||Go to Lumbridge and go to the bank. Grab 5 Fire Runes, 4 Air Runes, and 1 Death Rune. Go over the bridge to where the Goblins and Spiders are and cast Fire Blast on one of these creatures.||Level 59 Magic||None|
|5||Pray at Lumbridge Church altar with Mystic Might enabled.||Go to Lumbridge and go inside the Church. Turn on your Mystic Might Prayer and go pray at the altar.||Level 45 Prayer||None|
|6||Craft 100 or more water runes simultaneously.||Go to Draynor Village and grab your Water Talisman/Tiara/Staff, Explorer's Ring 3, and load up on a full pack of Rune Essence. Go to the ruins for the Water Altar in the Lumbridge Swamp (near the shed in the swamp from an earlier Lumbridge task). |7||Burn some yew logs atop the east gatehouse of Lumbridge Castle.||Go to Lumbridge. Grab a Tinderbox and some Yew Logs from your bank. Go into the Lumbridge Castle's courtyard and go up one of the ladders on either side of the entrance through the castle's walls. Go all the way up to the top and light your Yew Logs there.||Level 60 Firemaking||None|
HARD TASKS COMPLETE!!!
Talk to Ned in Draynor Village to receive your reward. This is the same guy who gave you the Medium Task reward.
Reward: Antique lamp that rewards 9,000 XP to the skill of your choice that is level 49 or higher, and an Explorer's Ring 4 (an upgrade from the Explorer's Ring 3). It will allow you to cast High Alchemy 15 times a day, and Super Heat Item 27 times a day, both for free. Now, even without the ring on, you have a chance to not use runes when casting the Bones to Bananas spell. You can also get a Food Hamper from the Lumbridge Castle's Cook once per day now.
Note: If you ever lose your Explorer's Ring 4, you can obtain a new one by talking to Ned.
