Challenge Name |
What to do |
Arm the Statutes |
There are 5 pairs of statues in the room, each pair is facing each other. One has a weapon in hand, the other is just standing there. The goal is the arm the weapon-less statute with the weapon that would overpower its pair's weapon, based on the combat triangle. You'll need a chisel, hammer, and pickaxe. Mine the blocks from the wall (marked as red on the mini-map), and use a chisel on the block to create a weapon. Armed statute > Weapon for unarmed; Mage > Bow Ranger > Sword Warrior > Staff |
Ghosts |
When you first enter the room, you'll see a little spirit fly from one ghost to another. You can only damage the ghost that has the spirit in it, so watch carefully where the spirit goes. After you kill the ghost with the spirit in it, it'll fly to another ghost. Repeat until all ghosts are dead. |
Suspicious Grooves |
Search each of the grooves to try to find one that doesn't have a trap. It is completely random which one doesn't have the spikes. It's recommended to drop useless items on the ground on top of the groove that is safe so it's easier to remember which ones to walk on when going by them in the future. |
Maze |
It is recommended to have and use an Orb of Oculus in this room to find a path to the center efficiently. Pull the lever near the doorway, and try to reach the center of the maze and loot the chest before the timer runs out. If it does run out, then you will take high damage every few seconds, and there is no way to reset the timer or maze. |
Barrels |
Click the picture of the barrel on the right for how to push the barrels. Make sure to take the barrel parts, and using a hammer, fix the broken barrel. Then, slide it back and forth to fill it with water. Note: it loses water when it's not being filled up. After it's completely full, push it onto the pressure pad to unlock the doors. |
Mime |
Stand on a tile facing a statute, and once everyone in your party is on one, all the statutes will perform emotes. Only pay attention to the one you're facing. After they perform the emote, quickly choose the emote your statute performed. If one of your party members fail, you'll be dealt damage. Repeat until they say "You may pass." |
Mirror Statutes |
You'll see four carpets, each with two statutes on them. You must move the statutes on the south side to be exactly in the same spots on the carpets as the ones on north. |
Tiles |
The goal is to get all of the tiles to the a single color. For every tile you imbue energy, that tile, and the four adjacent to it, switch to the opposite color. You can choose to force tiles, but you will be dealt damage. |
Sentinel Seeker |
You want to avoid being spotted at all times, both by the spawn and by the Sentinel rotating in the middle of the room. When the spawn aren't facing you, you can paralyze them for a short while and run past. If you are spotted by a spawn, they will scream alerting the sentinel. If you're spotted by the sentinel, you will be attacked and teleported behind the nearest wall. |
Enigmatic Hoardstalker |
It will give you a riddle, asking you to bring it an item from the room. Some items are in a barrel and chest. |
Combat Triangle |
You will see three statutes, two of them with weapons, one without. You want to arm the statute with the last part of the combat triangle (so if there is a bow and staff, you'll need to make a sword). Using a pickaxe, mine a block from the wall (marked in red on the mini-map), and use a chisel and hammer on it to create the weapon and use it on the statute. |
Monolith |
Once you activate the monolith, it'll start charging, and shades will appear. You need to prevent the shades from attacking the monolith, or else it will loose charges. You may need to get multiple shades to attack you. Once the monolith is fully charged, the doors will unlock. |
Switches |
You will see a bunch of switches in the room. You must press all the switches within a certain amount of time (depends on number of players in the dungeon), or else you will take damage. Do not try solo if the dungeon is made for more than one person! |
Crystal |
You will see a large crystal in the center, with four paths leading up to it. The goal is to have all four colors in the crystal at once. You may need to activate some colors with the loadstones in the room. You can pause a color by stepping on the pressure pad at the end of its path. |
Ferret (fishing) |
You will need feathers and a fly fishing rod. Fish the fishing spot in the room a couple times to receive vile fish. Cook the fish, then throw them on the tiles to lead the ferret to the pressure pad. Avoid the holes. |
Ferret (hunter) |
Get a knife and hatchet, and cut the dead tree in the room, then fletch it into a ferret trap. Place traps, and get the ferret to go in their direction. Alternatively, just try to tag the ferret (not recommended). |
Ferret (color) |
You will see a room with several colored ferrets and colored pressure pads. Stand next to a ferret to get them to move in the opposite direction, and click on the ferret to get it to move in a random direction. You want to get the ferrets matched onto their respective colored pressure pad. |
Ice Pressure Pads |
Slip across the ice and land on the pressure pads. (Note: you can go diagonally on the ice) |

Get a block out of the chest, and using a chisel and hammer, make the piece that the construct is missing. Imbue the piece, then use it on the construct and charge it. |
Sleeping Brutes |
WALK across the trash, one square at a time to avoid waking the brutes up. Pickpocket the sleeping brutes and try to use their key to unlock the door. Alternatively, run across the trash, waking them up, and kill them for the key. |
Stepping Stones |
Take the purple power crystal to the loadstone on the other side of the stepping stones. A floating orb will appear, and for every move you make, it will move too. You can only move across, while the orb can move diagonally. |
Collapsing Rock |
Using a pickaxe, mine away the rocks. The large rocks won't respawn, but the small ones will, damaging you if you're underneath them. Repair the frames next to the small rocks with a hammer to prevent them from respawning. |
Fremennik Warrior |
Talk to the Warrior, and he'll ask you to make bows, cook some fish, and smith battleaxes. Get the supplies from the crates, then use a knife to cut the logs and attach the bowstring, then cook the fish on the nearby fire. |
Agility |
Squeeze through the bars, avoid the hidden saw blade, jump past the pendulum, and walk around the spinning blade. Once past, opening the door is helpful for going through the room faster a second time. |
Broken Bridge (planks) |
You will see a bridge that has a large gap in it. You can choose to right-click jump across it, with a chance of failing. If you have a hammer, grab 5 planks from a crate in the room, and use them to repair the bridge. |
Broken Bridge (rocks) |
Mine the nearby rock, then use a hammer and chisel on the rock. Use on the broken bridge to continue. |
Pondstalkers |
Using a fly fishing rod, wait until all of them are at the center of the pool and look for the one that opens its mouth; that's the one with the key. |

Pay attention to the corners, and try to get the pieces to form the image as seen on the left. It is suggested to do the top row first, then work on the rest, as this will make it easier. |
Grapple |
Take a meatcorn from a crate and use on spinning wheel. Take a broken grapple head from another crate and use it on the anvil to repair it. Use the rope and grapple head together, then grapple to the west side. Some times you may need to use a pulley to bring a bridge out, or other times you may just have to use agility to walk across the rope. |
Statute Repair |
Mine from nearby rock. Repair the statute with the missing face with hammer and rock. Push onto pressure pad. |

With a hammer, repair the pillars, then mine the rocks away to return the flow. |
Bookcases |
Books are flying from one bookshelf to the other. The goal is to get the correctly colored books into the corrsponding bookcase on the otherside of the room. Rotate the shelves so that they swap the different colored books with each other, then rotate them to face the shelves on the other wall once the right colored book is in the right case. |
Plants |
With a hatchet, you can only cut the smaller colored plants if they're the same color as the large one. The goal is to reach the large plant then uproot it. |
