The cook in Lumbridge has a surprisingly small number of ingredients to hand in his kitchen, possibly as a result of an endless stream of newcomers with light fingers, taking anything that isn't nailed down from his kitchen.

Luckily, in the past, a kind Cook's Assistant was willing to help him in his culinary duties, but a problem has now appeared that could spell... a Recipe For Disaster!

Almost all members may attempt to solve his tricky predicament, and be rewarded accordingly, but only the very elite of Questers will be able to put an end to his problem permanently!

Party Preparations

Start by talking to the cook in the Lumbridge Castle Kitchen. Ask if he has any other quests for you, and he will explain the cake wasn't for the duke, but rather for a party. He wants to recreate the meal that his ancestor cooked a hundred years ago for the the 10th anniversary of a banquet.

He will give you 100 coins to pay for the supplies. A rotten tomato can be bought from the guy wandering around the bank at Duel Arena. An eye of newt can be bought from Betty in Port Sarim. A fruit blast can be made after completing Blurberry's training in the Grand Tree, though it might be easier to buy off the Grand Exchange. Note: It cannot be a premade fruit blast!

Simply add ashes to the Fruit Blast to get a Dirty Blast. Greenmans Ale can be bought in the Burthorpe or Yanille bars. Once you have all of the supplies, talk to the cook again.

1 Quest Point, An invitation to the most amazing feast you will ever see!

When you are ready, enter the dining room. A long cut-scene will occur. Duke Horacio will be taken away from the Mysterious Old Man and Osman will be snatched by Evil Bob. Then, the Culinaromancer will appear and try to kill everyone.

Gypsy Aris will arrive late and do something.. Talk to her to find out what's going on. The short and sweet: she stopped time in the room, you have to figure out each person's favourite dish and use it on them to save them from the evil dude called the Culinaromancer.

Notes: You now have access to the Culinaromancer's chest in the castle basement.
