Purple Cat

Speaking to Wendy

Talk to Wendy and ask her about the purple cat wandering around.

She can make Cats purple, so ask her if she can make your Cat purple too. She'll need to make more Magic unguent first. Ask her where to get this unguent and she'll direct you to Betty's apprentice Lottie. Remember from the Swept Away quest, Lottie had you solve a puzzle involving moving creatures to their proper pens. Head over to the magic shop in Port Sarim, head down the ladder, and talk to Lottie.

Arranging the creatures

Once again, the item you need is in the magically locked chest and you'll need to solve the puzzle to open it again. Betty became a bit paranoid after you easily solved the previous puzzle, so she made this new one a bit more complicated. Unlike last time, you'll have to move each creature at least once. Talk to Lottie again if you'd like the Magic slate reference tool and to reset the puzzle if you made a mistake.

Dying your cat purple

After all the creatures are in their proper pens, search the chest near Lottie to find Magic unguent. Return to Wendy at Maggie's encampment and give her the Magic unguent. She'll then thank you and offer her services.

There are a few things you should know when turning your cat purple.

• You can change kittens, cats, and overgrown cats purple.
• Once purple, cats grow and need to be fed just like normal.
• You can change the kitten or cat to it's original color by talking to Wendy again.
• Hell kittens and hell cats can also be colored purple, but will stop being a hellcat.
• Once you turn a cat purple, you cannot turn the cat back.
