While some find their fortunes in forsaken lands battling dangerous monsters, the opportunistic adventurer knows that there is wealth to be had all around: in guarded vaults, trapped safes and the fattened purses of the rich and careless.

With naught but a capacious cellar, an extensive vocabulary and a dash of derring-do, rakish confidence trickster Darren Lightfinger hopes to establish an official Lumbridge Thieves' Guild where all proponents of his time-honoured profession may pursue their various business interests.

Darren has sent out feelers for assistance, promising rich rewards to the person who helps him bring his plan to fruition. It's never wise to trust a con-man, but this is too good an opportunity for a resourceful rogue to pass up.

1.) Starting Out

Talk to Darren again. He tells you about a toy red dragon he ordered, made of rubies that he ordered from a dwarf named Urist Loric in Varrock Square. He wants you to steal the dragon, and when the dragon is stolen, request your money back from the Urist.

Head to Varrock and talk to Urist, and he will tell you all about the work he put into this toy. It's so expensive, Varrock has a guard devoted entirely to watching it! Talk to the guard, who will tell you about a talisman in Urist's pocket.

2.) Stealing the Dragon

Note: For this part of the quest, you will have to rush. You must distract both the guard and Urist at the same time, and both are distracted for only a few seconds.

Head back to Urist, and pickpocket him, taking the talisman. Now right click and place it on the ground, and talk to Urist, telling him he dropped it. Run over to the guard, and tell him that you think Romeo is causing trouble. Now run back, and steal the dragon.

Talk to Urist again, and he will say that due to someone stealing the dragon, he will be unable to complete it in time, and offers you a refund. Take this refund and the dragon back to Darren.
